My new course is now available. Here’s the link if you’re ready to enroll:
If you want to learn more first, read on. I’ve included what’s inside Low Effort Selling and answers to a few questions you may have before enrolling.
What if I already own The Chad Salesman course?
That’s great. You’re already building on a strong foundation.
The Chad course was effectively a brain dump of everything I had learned up until its release in 2022. It covered a broad range of topics such as framing, discovery, status, buyer psychology, and more.
Much of what’s taught in the Chad course is evergreen, such as the content on Framing. But the content around Discovery no longer reflects how I approach selling and how I teach it today. My understanding of buyer/seller psychology has also evolved, and LES reflects my updated thinking.
Low Effort Selling is a focused course that goes deep on a handful of skills that can transform how you sell (and communicate) forever.
It teaches you:
how to ask questions that guide buyers to do the selling or disqualifying, themselves
how to recognize what to ask next when the conversation requires you to improvise
how to identify unproductive beliefs and behaviors holding you back from reaching your potential
There’s also an updated, optional Foundations module covering my most up to date perspective on core competencies such as how to:
develop domain expertise so you’re seen as an authority in your space
identify what actually matters in a deal without getting lost in the details
Frame your solution so it makes “business sense” and buyers can justify taking action
I designed the course in a way that if you need a selling framework, Foundations gives you one. if you already have a selling structure, or are forced to use your company’s 🤡 methodology, you can still apply the core LES teachings within it.
The skills are framework agnostic. And that’s the point.
Beyond a certain point, more sales methodologies don’t = better performance. Once you have a good grasp of what to look for in your deals, you need to develop your thinking and your ability to improvise within an internalized structure.
AI has commoditized access to information, scripts, and techniques making judgment and discernment more valuable than ever.
How often do you see me releasing new courses? I don’t take these things lightly. I only create when I see a real need for transformation. It’s been nearly 5 years since the release of the Chad course. Selling has changed a lot since then.
So now it’s time for another round of transformation.
I’ve developed the material in LES over the past 3 years through the Accelerator and my work with private coaching clients across enterprise software, construction and infrastructure, financial services, medical devices, and other selling environments. From SDR’s to Enterprise AE’s, and from consultants to business owners.
They’ve seen measurable improvements in their performance.
a few examples:
What if I don’t own The Chad Salesman course? Should I start there?
No. Low Effort Selling is a standalone course. If you’re new to BTSG, start with LES.
Is this the Accelerator repackaged?
Some of you may also be familiar with the Accelerator. If not, it was a 3 month group coaching program + live teachings on new material I was developing.
It was a special container. I’d develop new material, bring it to a group of high performers, and see what happened.
It was transformative for 90%+ of participants. We covered a much broader range of topics and it became a sales lab for many of the ideas I was developing at the time.
Low Effort Selling is the evolution and distillation of that work.
How is Low Effort Selling different than other sales methodologies?
one of the problems with conventional sales methodologies is it puts all the pressure on the seller:
“find the pain”
“create the gap”
“BANT”
methodologies are necessary because that they teach you what information to get. But they don’t teach you how to navigate what happens next LIVE in the meeting. Isolated techniques and frameworks don’t teach you much unless you have a cognitive map that organizes how, when, and why to use them.
what i’m teaching is something different: How to use what buyers are already saying to guide them towards their own truth.
whether that truth reveals “pain,” “a gap”, budget constraints, or something else doesn’t matter.
the point is it naturally emerges from the conversation.
once you know how to steer the conversation effectively, this approach requires far less effort.
and that’s exactly how it should be.
the buyers the one with the problem, not you.
What are the core teachings in Low Effort Selling?
LES focuses more on the How and Why behind selling and my thinking, while still giving you guidance on What to do.
The core skill is learning how to guide the buyer to do the “work” themselves rather than simply telling them what you want them to understand.
This saves an enormous amount of energy and effort on the seller side and makes you more persuasive because they’re saying it, not you. They’re more likely to own it when it comes from them. You already know what happens when you try to sell someone directly: they resist.
The goal is to develop your “sales brain” and improve your discernment in a way that transfers across different roles, segments, and selling environments.
I want you to pay once and benefit forever.
How do I put the teachings into practice?
Inside LES, you get:
Guiding principles to orient you to the Low Effort way of selling. It starts with introducing new awareness. Then the rest of the course is about reinforcing that awareness.
A preparation process for understanding what I call the Decision Landscape, then learning how to Frame the decision so you become the one with the wider, more credible perspective. You’ll have Frame Control before you even turn up to the meeting.
3 Moves to help you organize your questions both before the meeting AND LIVE. None of this means much unless you can think on your feet. LES teaches you what to listen for and how to organize your thinking so you can formulate better follow up questions in the moment that lead buyers to that sweet sweet “aha” moment of realization.
Detailed examples and annotated conversation patterns so you can study the thought process behind the choices I make and learn to see what I see.
Exercises, Journal prompts, and an AI Companion Pack containing 6 different prompts to use with your preferred GPT to help you practice and apply the material to your own deals.
Who is this for?
Notice if there’s any truth or resonance in these statements:
“If I can just get this guy to realize XYZ then he will buy.”
“We’re so much better than [competitor].. why can’t they see it??”
“I hate feeling like I’m out of control and don’t know where I’m going”
Or maybe you:
want my most up to date alfa and a cohesive process you can take with you anywhere you go, no matter the role or segment.
want an approach that is meaningfully different than what’s out there, including what I’ve put out in the past
know what questions you like to ask but feel like something is missing in the way you execute
want a method that transfers to other areas of your life where you need to “convince” someone.
hate sales but still want to learn how to become a more effective communicator
The opportunity to apply the material is greatest when you have enough conversations happening to practice the concepts regularly.
In a purely transactional environment where the purchase is determined almost entirely by price, you may have fewer opportunities to use the teachings.
How is private coaching different from the course?
LES gives you everything you need to begin developing the skills at your own pace.
Private coaching is more surgical. It is high level, transformative, and personalized to you, your deals, and whatever is getting in the way of your performance.
We may work on applying LES, but we’re not limited to the course material.
For example, I can help you develop a line of questioning specific to your deal environment, ask you why you chose a question, point out something you missed, or help you work through a completely different challenge you’re facing.
Between sessions, I expect you to apply what we worked on. Then we review what happened and make adjustments.
If you want that level of personalized guidance, there’s a Work With Me section inside the course where we can discuss if it’s right for you.
Low Effort Selling is now available for $599
