I’m only interested in finding the Truth.
This has been my objective since the ripe age of 18.
I’ve found many “Truths” to be True.
Here are some:
Your coworkers are not your friends. You might be the exception to the rule but for every one real friend you make at work, there are 100 other “friends” who wouldn’t think twice before throwing you under the bus for a raise / promotion.
At work you should be friendly and try to strengthen relationships with the right people. But never forget, 99% of them are not your real friends. They are your “work friends”
If you’ve gone through my course updates you know why selling to HR is an absolute nightmare.
But as usual there are always exceptions:
Selling smarter includes selling to a better department / cost center.
Just play the odds. For every one sales rep making bank selling to HR there are 10 feeling max pain dealing with these decision makers.
I’m not interested in being the exception to the rule. I am interested in being efficient.

Your performance is a result of your habits. The first step to getting rid of your bad habits is to be aware that your bad habit is in fact a bad habit.

Status is an unfair advantage
Status is so powerful that people will pay to be scammed. Yes you read that right.
They pay to be scammed.
People will do irrational things when they are put in the low status validation seeking position.
And if the emotional pull is strong enough they will do go to great lengths to gain the approval of the higher status party. This includes paying thousands of dollars just to get shat on and be told you are a loser:
Look at how GC clowns on anyone making $400k/year (Top 1% income) and even rips on someone who said they are making $2.7M/year. Insanity!
Pro tip: That guy making $2.7M was either paid to be there or does not make $2.7M. Anyone successful wouldn’t be attending these kinds of seminars.
Also, notice the brutal Frame control:
Guy: I’m making $2.7M
GC: My jet eats $2.7M per year
Status? Check.
Frame control? Check.
Contrast? Check.
Shitting on your prospects works so well it even got Shaq to buy 3 Rolls Royce’s!
These are extreme examples of how Status can be used to manipulate people.
Using Status is designed to make you feel insecure. When you feel insecure you will look for a solution even if you don’t need one.
In this case the solution “presented” to you is validation from the cause of your negative emotion.
