As many of you know I have spent the better part of 2026 getting Mike Tyson’d pretty bad. I discovered I have a rare swallowing disorder called achalasia, which left untreated, makes eating food nearly impossible. As a result of this, I lost ~35 pounds in a few months while trying to get a diagnosis. Losing 35 pounds on an already lean and handsome Chad like myself was DEVASTATING.
Thankfully, there are highly effective interventions for this disease, but damn. Anyone who deals with a chronic health issue will tell you it changes you. Especially if you were perfectly healthy prior like I was. It fucked me up and was a big wake up call.
My internal dialogue summarized:
“This can’t be happening to me. ME? I’M BTSG. a disease that affects 0.18% of my age group? I was perfectly healthy prior to this.. FUCK YOU. What did I do to deserve this?”
Alongside my rage at G-d was a rage to survive too. As someone who has always had a tenuous relationship with existence, this predicament was poetic. I channeled my anger to endure until I could finally get the surgery.
I can eat again!
It’s now been 2 months since surgery and I can eat relatively comfortably again. I’m back in the gym, playing tennis and have gained back ~11lbs so far. But most importantly, I feel more “here” again. Not perfect, but good enough.
Life is crazy. Fuck this year. And fuck you too Mike 😂.. at least until this point because there are exciting things coming! I’m grateful to be back.
New Projects
Low Effort Selling
I created a new course called Low Effort Selling.
One early morning I was drifting in and out of consciousness and was woken up to my internal dialogue intrusively saying “Low Effort Selling”
I was confused at first. But it kept saying:
LOW EFFORT SELLING
LOW EFFORT SELLING
LOW EFFORT SELLING
and i’m like oh wow. that’s it. that’s going to be the title for my next course. I thanked the voice and went back to sleep.
Fast forward a few months, I’m working on the course and referring to it as “LES” and then I had a realization. LES also stands for Lower Esophageal Sphincter. the muscle the doc had to cut so i can eat again.
Make of that what you will. I’m still sitting with that.
Ironically, creating Low Effort Selling was anything but low effort.
The work really started in 2023. about a year after releasing the Chad Salesman course, which was effectively a brain dump of everything i’ve learned up until that point.
So ~3 years of R&D went into LES. Days and weeks at a time chewing on concepts, reworking them, obsessively trying to “figure it out.”
Thinking I’d finally found the nirvana of sales approaches, asking my clients to test it in the field, and occasionally getting punched in the face by what came back.
I returned to the drawing board. Again. And again. But each time, my approach became more refined and results improved. Little breakthroughs compounding over time to create what you will soon be getting, Low Effort Selling. I’m proud of what I’ve created.
And during that process, I noticed something else happening..
Alongside improved performance and increased earnings, my clients were becoming more self aware and more willing to “go there.”
They started catching themselves in the act:
-being overly pleasing
-avoiding asking the hard questions
-getting so caught up in what to say next that they stopped listening.
And they were willing to own it all.
Transformation was happening alongside their results.
See, most sales influenzas don’t get it. They offer commoditization to the commoditized. More scripts. More playbooks. More things to copy and pasta, with little attention to the person implementing them.
Once you have the basics down, your development depends on what you can see and how you think in your deals.
How do you take a realization you think might matter to the buyer and explore whether it’s actually true?
How do you guide someone to talk themselves IN or OUT while staying open to where they land?
That’s the skill LES is designed to teach. It takes practice and a willingness to examine your own patterns. This is the 7+ figure skill.
I take my time with new products because my vision for you goes beyond “crush your quota.” I want to hear what changed in your sales meetings. What you noticed that you previously missed. What you finally asked instead of betraying yourself again.
That’s the part of this work that excites me most.
And when it’s time to work, I go for the jugular.
No time to waste. BTSG is back in the kitchen.
So thank you to those who eagerly agreed to be my guinea pigs, testing the material in Low Effort Selling across many different verticals. From Enterprise software to Construction and Infrastructure. And from financial advisors to medical devices. Your willingness to experiment helped make this course what it is.

Future Courses
Low Effort Selling focuses on mastering the skill of asking questions that guide someone towards a realization.
The next course I’m considering creating is one focused on Framing and Reframing.. two additional tools for guiding realizations.
As many of you already know, the old way of forceful selling is over. ‘Soft power’ is the future. You will get paid more for your awareness and presence than for your hustle and hard work. Cap it.
So, there is more to come! Character structures are also another area I’d like to explore.
Drop a comment and let me know if there’s anything else you want to see.
Community
BowTiedCocoon and I have also been working on something for the BT sales community.
It’s a natural fit: he helps you land the role. I help you perform once you’re in seat.
We’re still figuring out the right mix of what you need and what we’d actually enjoy building and delivering. Software, hands on coaching, a place to practice and reinforce the teachings.. it’s all on the table. We don’t know exactly what shape it’ll take yet.
We’d like your input. Which parts of what we’re exploring interest you the most?
Let us know in the comments or DM either of us.

What are some of the differences between this and your coaching or Chad course? Will you continue the coaching as you develop more courses?
